CHARLOTTESVILLE–The 16th-ranked Charlottesville Cardinals will host their annual Herman Key, Jr. Memorial Holiday Tournament this weekend, featuring seven teams from Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.
The three-day event kicks off Friday night at 7:00 p.m. at Carver Recreation Center. On Saturday, games shift to Covenant Church (Rio Road) and Tandem Friends School. Sunday sites will be Carver and Tandem.
The Cardinals will first face the 5th-ranked Atlanta Shepherd Stealers at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning at Tandem, and will then take on the NRH Ambassadors from Washington, DC at 11:45 a.m.
The quarter-final rounds are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, the semi-final rounds start at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning, and the championship game is at noon at Tandem on Sunday.
