CHARLOTTESVILLE–The Charlottesville Cardinals picked up two wins against a very scrappy and determined Richmond Rimriders squad today.
The Championship Division Cardinals handled the Division 3 Richmond team in two successive games, 69-43 and 66-32.
“I thought both teams played very hard and were able to use the games to build for the future,” said Charlottesville player-coach Tom Vandever. “The final scores didn’t really reflect the high level of play displayed by the Rimriders.”
Charlottesville travels to Atlanta the weekend of November 1st and 2nd to begin competition in the NWBA’s Championship Division.
