Cardinals Ranked 15th In Latest National Poll

Dec 12, 2012

COLORADO SPRINGS–The Charlottesville Cardinals slipped one position in the latest national rankings released by the National Wheelchair Basketball Association and are now ranked 15th nationally.

Defending NWBA champion Dallas remains ranked #1, while the previously ranked #2 Indianapolis RHI Pacers dropped to #3 behind the Milwaukee Wheelchair Bucks.

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the new rankings is the appearance of the previously unranked Bay City Thunder & Lightning who claimed the #9 ranking following their tournament victory in the Herman Key, Jr. Holiday Memorial Tournament earlier this month in Charlottesville.

Bay City notched two narrow wins against #10 Shepherd and #15 Charlottesville to win the event.
